Khurram Jaffrani visits Aaghosh Homes and pledges support for a special girls’ home.
Renowned philanthropist and Adpulse IMC (Pvt) Ltd CEO Khurram Jaffrani visited Aaghosh Homes Trust in Karachi and pledged support for a proposed home for orphan girls with physical and intellectual disabilities.
Jaffrani spent time with elderly shelterless women and orphan girls during the visit. He also reviewed the Trust’s humanitarian services and interacted with its residents.
Aaghosh Trust Highlights Need for Special Home
Aaghosh Trust President Shagufta Saba briefed Jaffrani about the organisation’s humanitarian work.
She explained that the Trust provides shelter, food, healthcare, protection and dignity to abandoned and shelterless elderly women.
Furthermore, she highlighted the urgent need for a separate residential facility for orphan girls with physical and intellectual disabilities. Many of these girls require specialised assistance, rehabilitation and lifelong care.
Jaffrani Meets Residents
Aaghosh Trust Secretary General Muhammad Jazib welcomed Jaffrani along with Trustees Shakeel Baig and Manzar Naqvi.
The management took him on a detailed tour of Aaghosh Homes. During the visit, he met elderly residents and girls with disabilities.
Jaffrani listened to their experiences and appreciated the caring environment provided by the Trust.

He also presented gifts to every resident as a gesture of affection and solidarity. In particular, he showed special affection towards a one-and-a-half-year-old girl whose mother, a resident, has an intellectual disability.
The gifts brought a moment of joy to the child and other residents.
Support for Dedicated Orphan Home
Jaffrani expressed his support for the proposed dedicated home after learning about the Trust’s plans.
The proposed facility would provide shelter, medical care, rehabilitation, therapy, education and protection. The Trust aims to create a safe and dignified environment for girls who need lifelong assistance.
Meanwhile, Jaffrani assured the elderly residents that his visit would not remain a one-time gesture. He pledged to visit Aaghosh Homes regularly and maintain a personal connection with its humanitarian mission.
Trust Welcomes Philanthropic Support
Shagufta Saba, Muhammad Jazib, Shakeel Baig and Manzar Naqvi thanked Jaffrani for his support and commitment.
They said philanthropists, business leaders and corporate organisations could help turn the proposed project into reality.
Aaghosh Trust has served elderly, abandoned and shelterless women for nearly 25 years. The organisation now seeks support from philanthropists, corporations and institutions to establish a permanent home for orphan girls with physical and intellectual disabilities.
The proposed initiative aims to ensure that girls requiring lifelong care have access to shelter, protection, healthcare and a sense of belonging.
