Azem-e-Pakistan Ceremony Highlights Women’s Role, Youth Talent and Martyrs’ Sacrifices
Governor Sindh Syed Muhammad Nihal Hashmi has stressed the importance of women’s participation in national development at the Azem-e-Pakistan ceremony held in Karachi.

KARACHI (Staff Reporter): A dignified ceremony and family carnival titled “Azem-e-Pakistan” (Resolve of Pakistan) was organised in collaboration with Dr. Essa Laboratory and Diagnostic Centre and Naya Nazimabad.
The event paid tribute to Pakistan’s martyrs. It also highlighted women’s contributions to national development. In addition, the organisers aimed to encourage young entrepreneurs and talented individuals.
Governor Highlights Women’s Role
Governor Sindh Syed Muhammad Nihal Hashmi attended the ceremony as the chief guest.
He said women have an essential role in Pakistan’s development. Their participation, he added, is vital for building a stronger society and economy.
The governor also spoke about Pakistan’s national resolve and the role of the armed forces in defending the country.

Dr Farhan Essa Praises Youth
CEO of Dr. Essa Laboratory and Diagnostic Centre and Honorary Commander Surgeon Dr. Farhan Essa also addressed the gathering.
He said Pakistan’s standing in the world had risen following the Maraka-e-Haq (Battle for Truth).
Dr. Farhan Essa stressed the importance of positive activities and supporting talented individuals. He said providing opportunities to young people is a shared responsibility.
He also extended his best wishes to the participants and organisers of the ceremony.
Arif Habib Calls for Recognition of Talent
Renowned businessman Arif Habib said society must encourage talented individuals and recognise their contributions.
He said such initiatives can motivate young people and professionals from different fields. Furthermore, he noted that recognition can encourage them to pursue greater achievements.
Tribute to Pakistan’s Martyrs
General Manager of Dr. Essa Laboratory and Diagnostic Centre, Dr. Nayar Jabeen, highlighted the sacrifices of Pakistan’s martyrs.
She said the country’s independence and sovereignty are linked to the sacrifices of those who defended the homeland.
According to Dr. Jabeen, the armed forces and people of Pakistan have made significant sacrifices for the country’s security and dignity.
She also explained that Dr. Essa Laboratory and Diagnostic Centre has named several of its branches after national martyrs.
The initiative, she said, aims to honour the martyrs and educate future generations about their sacrifices.
Women Entrepreneurs and Bike Rally
The event also featured participation from women entrepreneurs and young business owners.
Women running small businesses displayed their products at various stalls. A women’s bike rally was also organised as part of the celebrations.
Moreover, women who demonstrated outstanding performance in different fields were presented with awards.
Distinguished Guests Attend Ceremony
The ceremony was attended by several political, business and social figures.
Among those present were Dr. Farhan Essa, Arif Habib, Rehan Hashmi, MPA MQM Pakistan Jamal Ahmed and other prominent personalities.
Dr. Essa Laboratory and Diagnostic Centre welcomed the guests and expressed gratitude for their participation.
The organisers also thanked the administration of Naya Nazimabad, participants and everyone involved in making the event a success.
The ceremony concluded with a strong message of national pride, recognition of talent and appreciation for the sacrifices made for Pakistan.
