CBD Punjab accelerates mega projects as CEO demands quality and timely completion

CBD Punjab CEO Imran Amin inspected several major development projects in Lahore on Saturday and directed officials and contractors to meet construction deadlines without compromising quality.

The inspection covered CBD Vertex, CBD Walk and NSIT City. Senior officials from the Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA), also known as Central Business District Punjab, joined the visit.
Imran Amin reviewed construction progress, technical milestones and the overall execution of the projects. He also received detailed briefings from project teams, consultants and contractors.
Progress at CBD Vertex
At CBD Vertex, finishing work has entered an advanced stage.
Workers are installing exterior elevation tiles and digital screens. Teams are also completing epoxy flooring and an advanced parking management system.
Officials briefed the CEO on the latest technical developments and remaining construction work.
Imran Amin reviewed the progress and stressed the need to maintain construction standards while meeting the approved schedule.
CBD Walk construction advances
The grey structures of all units at CBD Walk have now reached completion.
Work on exterior elevation tiles is also moving ahead quickly. The CEO examined the site and reviewed the remaining activities with project officials.
The inspection formed part of a wider review of CBD Punjab’s ongoing development programme.
NSIT City reaches key milestone
At NSIT City, construction teams have completed the main structure of the central entrance gate.
Work on the entrance passage is also approaching completion.
Meanwhile, façade work continues on the multi-storey Celestia IT & Office Tower.
Officials provided Imran Amin with updates on the structural and architectural work at the site.
CEO orders strict quality checks
After completing the inspections, Imran Amin chaired a detailed progress review meeting.
The meeting examined project schedules, structural integrity and architectural standards.
The CEO instructed officers, consultants and contractors to complete the projects within the stipulated timelines.
He also stressed that speed must not come at the expense of construction quality.
Executive Director Technical Riaz Hussain, Director Project Management Asif Iqbal, Director Construction Asif Babar and Director Architecture and Planning Sameer Aftab Sial accompanied the CEO during the inspection.
Senior officials from NESPAK and representatives of the contractors also attended the site visits and review meeting.
Focus on modern urban infrastructure
Imran Amin said the authority continues to play an important role in promoting economic activity and modern urban development across Punjab.
He said timely delivery, durability and high construction standards remain key priorities for the authority.
According to the CEO, the projects aim to provide modern facilities for investors and the public while supporting Punjab’s wider economic development.
The latest inspection reflects CBD Punjab’s focus on monitoring major projects closely and ensuring that construction teams deliver them according to approved timelines and quality standards.
