Nehal Hashmi Visits Haji Hanif Tayyab, Praises Al-Mustafa Welfare Society’s Humanitarian Work
Sindh Governor expresses satisfaction over the former federal minister’s recovery and commends the organisation’s contributions to education, healthcare and social welfare.

KARACHI — Hanif Tayyab, former federal minister, religious scholar and Chairman of the Al-Mustafa Welfare Society, received Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi at his residence, where the governor inquired about his health and expressed happiness over his recovery.
Governor Nehal Hashmi conveyed his best wishes for Hanif Tayyab’s complete recovery, long life and continued service to society. During the meeting, both leaders exchanged views on matters of mutual interest, with discussions focusing on social welfare, charitable initiatives and humanitarian services across Sindh.
More than 100 words into the meeting, Hanif Tayyab briefed the governor on the Al-Mustafa Welfare Society’s expanding network of welfare projects. Governor Nehal Hashmi praised the organisation’s work in education, healthcare, humanitarian assistance and social welfare, describing its initiatives as a model for serving society without discrimination. He said institutions dedicated to humanity promote compassion, unity and hope, and deserve broad public appreciation.

Hanif Tayyab informed the governor about the My Home Al-Mustafa Boys Orphanage and school in Korangi, which provides orphaned and underprivileged children with quality education, accommodation, healthcare, character-building programmes and extracurricular activities to prepare them for responsible futures.
He also shared details of a modern residential institution for girls currently under construction on the same model, alongside separate old-age homes established for elderly men and women. In addition, he highlighted the society’s ambulance service, mortuary facilities, medical assistance, educational support, marriage assistance for deserving girls and other humanitarian programmes.
Governor Nehal Hashmi described the Al-Mustafa Welfare Society’s services as highly commendable, stating that supporting underprivileged communities is a national responsibility and that welfare organisations play a vital role in fulfilling this mission.
During the meeting, Hanif Tayyab invited the governor to visit the My Home Al-Mustafa Boys Orphanage in Korangi. Governor Nehal Hashmi accepted the invitation and said he looked forward to visiting the institution soon to review its educational and welfare activities while extending every possible support.
