Under the agreement, Bestway Automotive (Private) Limited will become the exclusive authorised distributor of Geely vehicles in Pakistan. Initially, the company will import Completely Built Units (CBUs). Later, it will begin local vehicle assembly at Bestway’s existing plant in Karachi.

The partnership aims to strengthen Pakistan’s automotive sector through technology transfer, localisation, job creation, and supply chain development. It also supports the country’s transition toward modern and sustainable mobility.

Among the first models planned for Pakistan are the Geely EX5, a premium all-electric SUV, the Geely EX2, China’s best-selling passenger vehicle in 2025, and the Geely Starray EM-i, a plug-in hybrid SUV that holds a Guinness World Record for fuel efficiency.

Furthermore, Geely Auto Group brings extensive global expertise in vehicle engineering, electric mobility, intelligent technologies, and safety. The company owns or has strategic investments in globally recognised brands, including Volvo, Lotus, Aston Martin, Zeekr, Smart, Lynk & Co, Polestar, Proton, LEVC, and Farizon Auto.

Beyond automobiles, Geely has also invested heavily in advanced mobility technologies. Its ecosystem includes smartphone manufacturer Xingji Meizu, the Flyme Auto intelligent operating system, and Geespace, which operates a commercial network of low-Earth orbit satellites to support connected and future autonomous vehicles.

Meanwhile, Bestway Group remains one of Pakistan’s largest foreign investors. Its portfolio includes Bestway Cement, United Bank Limited (UBL), Bestway Renewable Technologies, Bestway Packaging, MAP Foods, and several other major businesses across multiple sectors.

Bestway said additional details regarding vehicle launches, dealership expansion, and production timelines will be announced in the coming months.
