According to her remarks, the issue deserves urgent attention because families remain uncertain about the condition and safety of their loved ones.

Bushra Ansari spoke publicly about the condition of the Pakistani sailors, saying she had been following updates for nearly two months.

She stated that she had expected rescue efforts to already be completed and expressed concern after watching videos reportedly showing the conditions of the hostages. Furthermore, she questioned whether the captives had access to safe drinking water and communication with their families. Families Await Safe Return

During her message, Ansari focused on the families of the Pakistani sailors and described their situation as deeply painful.

She referred to the emotional impact of seeing a child missing her father and stressed that the crew members had gone abroad to earn an honest living. Additionally, she emphasized that the mariners were not involved in illegal activity and had simply traveled for work opportunities. Therefore, she appealed for continued attention to the humanitarian dimension of the crisis.

Foreign Office Rescue Efforts

According to official remarks, the Government of Pakistan has remained engaged regarding the Pakistani sailors held after the vessel incident.

Tahir Andrabi stated during a briefing that authorities had maintained contact with the vessel’s owners and the government of Somalia to support efforts aimed at securing the crew’s release.

Additionally, Ishaq Dar reportedly remained in communication with Abdisalam Abdi Ali regarding developments linked to the case.

MT Honour 25 Crew Situation

Eleven Pakistani sailors were reportedly among the crew members aboard MT Honour 25, which was hijacked near the coast of Somalia in April.

Officials stated that rescue coordination continues through diplomatic channels. Moreover, authorities are working with maritime and foreign affairs institutions to support efforts aimed at resolving the situation. The incident has drawn public concern across Pakistan and renewed discussion about maritime worker protections.

Maritime Ministry Coordination

A statement from the maritime authorities indicated that coordination remains ongoing between relevant government institutions.

Officials reportedly said communication channels continue with foreign affairs representatives and Pakistan’s diplomatic engagement in Somalia. Furthermore, rescue facilitation remains a priority while authorities monitor developments. As a result, families continue to wait for positive news regarding the safe return of the crew.

Public Support Grows

Public voices supporting the Pakistani sailors have continued to increase as concern spreads across social platforms and media discussions.

Supporters have called for sustained diplomatic engagement and humanitarian attention for the affected families. Moreover, public appeals have emphasized the importance of ensuring the wellbeing of those still awaiting rescue. The situation remains closely watched as efforts continue.
