Sindh Governor meets media delegation at Governor House Karachi discussing journalism and responsible reporting.
Karachi: Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nihal Hashmi met directors of various media organizations at the Governor House. They discussed journalism, responsible reporting, and national affairs.
The meeting included Syed Turab Shah, Director of ABN News and Ausaf Group, Mudassar Alam, Director of Pakistan Today, Zahid Karani of Daily The AZB, and Sakina Zafar of Ashish News.

During the meeting, Syed Turab Shah presented a bouquet to the Governor. He also conveyed congratulatory messages from MD Mohsin Bilal Khan and Chairman Raja Mehtab Khan Abbasi on the Governor’s Hajj performance.
The delegation also congratulated the Governor on completing the pilgrimage.
The Governor said free and responsible journalism is essential for social development and stability. He said journalists promote public awareness, national consciousness, and unity.
He added that the media acts as a bridge between the state and the public. It strengthens communication and builds trust.
The Governor praised the journalist community. He acknowledged their role in responsible reporting and national cohesion.
