Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), in collaboration with the Embassy of Pakistan in Cambodia, organized an online interactive session between Pakistani fruit and vegetable exporters and Cambodian traders on May 19, 2026.

Ambassador Highlights Trade Potential Between Pakistan and Cambodia
During his opening remarks, Zaheeruddin Babar Thaheem highlighted the growing potential for agricultural trade cooperation between Pakistan and Cambodia.
He encouraged direct engagement between businesses from both countries to enhance commercial ties.
Meanwhile, Athar Hussain Khokhar welcomed participants and reaffirmed TDAP’s commitment to supporting Pakistani exporters and expanding export destinations.
Experts Discuss Export Compliance and SPS Requirements
During the session, Dr. Khalid Zafar briefed participants on Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) requirements and export compliance measures.
He explained the standards necessary to ensure smooth agricultural trade operations between the two countries.
Pakistani and Cambodian Companies Join Interactive Session
Around 30 Pakistani companies presented their products and export capabilities during the meeting.
The participating companies included FA International, National Fruit Processing, TM Commodities, Chase International, Roshan Enterprises, Citrus Asia, and Al-Rafique Enterprise.
Cambodian participants included Longmate Agriculture, Lee Foods, Richfarm Asia, Tropicam Fruit and Vegetables, Tropicam Irrigation Solutions, and Vireak Buthan.
Session Focuses on Packaging, Standards, and Trade Logistics
The event concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session.
Participants discussed product specifications, packaging standards, sizes, and transit timelines for potatoes, onions, and mandarins.
In his closing remarks, DG TDAP Athar Hussain Khokhar expressed optimism that the session would promote stronger business collaboration and increase agricultural trade between Pakistan and Cambodia.
