He said Sindh remained one of Pakistan’s most important provinces, yet the same political party had ruled it for the past 18 years.

Allegations Against Sindh Public Service Commission

Ali Khurshidi claimed there were serious governance issues in the province.

Moreover, he alleged irregularities in the Sindh Public Service Commission recruitment process.

According to him, examination papers were leaked and favoritism existed within the system.

He further alleged that officials paid between Rs30 million and Rs70 million for assistant commissioner postings.

In addition, he demanded a forensic audit of SPSC examinations to ensure transparency.

Criticism Over Corruption and Wheat Scandal

The opposition leader also accused the provincial government of corruption in solar projects.

Furthermore, he criticised officials over allegations linked to missing wheat stocks.

He sarcastically questioned claims that “rats” consumed wheat worth billions of rupees while ministers defended the issue during press conferences.

According to Khurshidi, those responsible for misusing Sindh’s resources were being protected instead of held accountable.

Concerns Over Water and Infrastructure Problems

Ali Khurshidi said residents of Karachi had suffered from severe civic issues for the past three years.

He criticised the provincial administration for failing to improve water supply despite being in power for nearly two decades.

Moreover, he claimed that promised water supply from the Hub Dam project had not materialised.

He also alleged that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari received incorrect briefings regarding the province’s water situation.

In addition, Khurshidi criticised delays in infrastructure projects, including a damaged bridge in Kashmore-Kandhkot.

Calls for Probe Into ‘Pinky’ Drug Case

The opposition leader also addressed the ongoing “Pinky” drug network investigation.

He stressed that authorities must treat the case seriously because influential individuals were allegedly involved.

Furthermore, he claimed narcotics could not be sold without support from certain elements within law enforcement agencies.

According to him, drug abuse had destroyed many families and required a full-scale investigation.

Criticism of Law and Order Situation

Ali Khurshidi further criticised the provincial government’s handling of law and order.

He said despite awards being given to officials, Karachi’s overall situation remained unchanged.

Meanwhile, he accused political opponents, including Jamaat-e-Islami, of failing to effectively challenge the government.
