Speaking during a press conference in Karachi, the police chief described the case as a “test case” for law enforcement agencies.

Furthermore, he vowed to take the investigation to its logical conclusion.

Police Widen Investigation Beyond Karachi

Azad Khan said investigators were not limiting the case to Karachi alone.

According to him, police have already detained individuals who allegedly purchased narcotics from Pinky and later sold them onward.

Moreover, authorities are also targeting facilitators connected to the network.

Police recently conducted a raid at Pinky’s former residence in the Sachal area, where officials reportedly recovered additional narcotics.

Investigators believe the drugs were supplied from outside the country.

Authorities Examine Bank Transactions

The Karachi police chief confirmed that investigators had obtained details of the suspect’s bank accounts.

He claimed transactions worth Rs30 million had been traced during the investigation.

In addition, he said individuals from Africa were allegedly connected to the network.

Officials also revealed that the suspect had recently been staying in Punjab.

FIA and Cybercrime Wing Join Investigation

Azad Khan further stated that police had contacted the Federal Investigation Agency and cybercrime authorities to support the probe.

Meanwhile, investigators continue conducting a large-scale inquiry into the alleged drug network.

The police chief stressed that action would be taken against every suspect found involved in the case.

He added that the investigation remains ongoing and more arrests are expected.
