The launch ceremony highlighted Suzuki’s commitment to innovation, quality, and evolving customer preferences in Pakistan’s growing automobile market.

Speaking at the event, Masafumi Harano, Managing Officer and Executive General Manager of Automobile Marketing for Asia, Latin America, and Oceania, emphasized Suzuki’s global philosophy of compact, efficient, high-quality, and durable mobility solutions. Referring to Suzuki’s “Sho Sho Kei Tan Bi” philosophy, he described the concept as focusing on compactness, lightweight engineering, simplicity, and elegance.

He noted that modern consumers increasingly prefer compact yet sophisticated vehicles that deliver efficiency without compromising on style and comfort.

PSMC Managing Director Hiroshi Kawamura highlighted Suzuki’s long-standing role in enabling mobility in Pakistan and reiterated the company’s vision to provide reliable, affordable, and modern transportation solutions tailored to changing lifestyles.

He described the Fronx as a strategic addition to Suzuki’s portfolio aimed at meeting the aspirations of customers seeking premium design and advanced features. He also reaffirmed Suzuki’s customer-focused commitment under the company’s slogan, “By Your Side.”

Chief Engineer Takashi Yokoyama explained the design philosophy behind the Fronx, saying the vehicle was developed to combine style, driving comfort, and practicality in a compact package. Inspired by the elegance and strength of a thoroughbred horse, the Fronx features a coupe-style silhouette with a strong road presence and urban sophistication.

Executive Officer Marketing and Sales Aamir Shafi termed the Fronx a strategic entry into a completely new segment for Suzuki Pakistan. He said the vehicle targets modern, style-conscious customers looking for a combination of bold design, performance, and value.

According to the company, the Fronx has been introduced after identifying a gap in the local market for customers seeking an upgrade from hatchbacks and sedans to a modern crossover-style vehicle aligned with global SUV trends.

The Suzuki Fronx comes equipped with a range of premium features, including parking sensors, rear camera, push start system, cruise control, and steering-mounted controls. The vehicle also features a 9-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and voice command support.

Safety features include six airbags, ABS with ESP, Hill Hold Control, and Suzuki’s HEARTECT platform. The Fronx is powered by a 1.5-liter K-Series engine paired with a six-speed transmission.

The launch marks Suzuki Pakistan’s entry into the rapidly expanding crossover utility vehicle segment as competition intensifies in the country’s evolving automotive industry.
