Saudia, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, has achieved a major milestone by emerging as the most awarded airline at the World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo (WTCE) 2026, securing 12 international honors across leading aviation and hospitality platforms.

The recognition includes awards from TravelPlus, Onboard Hospitality, and PAX International Readership Awards, reflecting the airline’s continued investment in enhancing onboard comfort, service quality, and passenger experience.
The achievement holds particular relevance for Pakistani travelers, as Saudia operates frequent flights connecting Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad with Jeddah and Riyadh. These routes are widely used by passengers traveling for Umrah, Hajj, business, and family visits to Saudi Arabia.
The airline’s awards highlight excellence across multiple service categories, including premium dining experiences, economy class comfort amenities, inflight entertainment, and specialized service kits for different passenger groups. Saudia was notably recognized for its first-class dining service, economy amenities, and innovative onboard textile offerings.
In addition, the airline received multiple Gold awards at the TravelPlus Airline Amenity Awards 2026, covering both economy and business class services, alongside recognition for cabin comfort items and amenity kits. It also earned a Five-Star Passenger Amenities rating, a distinction awarded to only a select group of global carriers.
Further accolades from the PAX International Readership Awards highlighted Saudia’s advancements in inflight connectivity, entertainment systems, and children’s amenities, underscoring its focus on family-friendly travel experiences.
Saudia stated that these achievements reflect its largest-ever guest experience investment program, which includes digital transformation initiatives, artificial intelligence integration, upgraded cabin interiors, enhanced inflight connectivity, and improved service delivery across all classes.
The airline emphasized that all improvements are guided by its commitment to authentic Saudi hospitality, aimed at delivering a more seamless and comfortable travel experience for passengers worldwide, including its significant Pakistani customer base.
