In a heartfelt message, his son Saad Bin Aziz expressed pride in dedicating the event to his father’s legacy, while also praying for his recovery from illness. He described the fair as a continuation of Aziz Khalid’s vision to promote reading culture, authorship, and the growth of Pakistan’s publishing sector.

Aziz Khalid is widely regarded as a transformative figure in the industry, credited with encouraging writers, supporting publishers, and advancing educational initiatives linked to books and learning. His efforts have played a significant role in strengthening literary engagement and fostering a culture of reading in the country.

Organised in collaboration with Urdu Academy Sindh, the three-day fair aims to bring together publishers, authors, educators, and technology innovators under one platform. The event is expected to showcase a blend of traditional publishing and modern educational technologies, reflecting evolving trends in the global knowledge economy.

Dr Saad Bin Aziz reaffirmed his commitment to furthering his father’s mission, stating that the initiative seeks not only to honour Aziz Khalid’s legacy but also to contribute meaningfully to the development of Pakistan’s publishing and education sectors.

He also extended an invitation to members of the literary and publishing community to participate in the fair, expressing hope for strong engagement and collaboration in the days ahead.
