LAHORE: Chief Executive Officer of the Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (CBD Punjab), Imran Amin, chaired a high-level progress review meeting on Friday, April 24, 2026, to assess ongoing development works and future strategic initiatives across key infrastructure projects.

The meeting was attended by senior officials including Executive Director Technical Riaz Hussain, Director Project Management Asif Iqbal, Director Construction Asif Babar, and Director Architecture & Planning Sameer Aftab Sial. Representatives from partner organizations NESPAK and NSIT, including Project Manager Jamshed Janjua and Yasir Saifullah, along with project contractors, also participated in the session.
A key focus of the meeting was improving traffic flow along Main Boulevard and CBD Punjab Junction. The CEO reviewed multiple engineering and planning solutions aimed at ensuring smooth vehicular movement and preventing congestion as commercial activity in the district expands.
Progress on major infrastructure projects including CBD NSIT City, CBD Vertex finishing works, and the CBD Walk development was also reviewed in detail. The CEO expressed satisfaction over the pace of ongoing work and reiterated that all projects are being executed in line with international standards.
Imran Amin directed relevant teams to accelerate the completion of CBD Vertex finishing works and ensure timely delivery of NSIT City infrastructure. He further emphasized that the structural phase of CBD Walk must be completed within the stipulated timeline, underscoring the authority’s commitment to project efficiency and punctuality.
Reaffirming CBD Punjab’s long-term vision, he stated that strict quality control must be maintained at every stage of construction. He added that the overarching goal is to transform CBD Punjab into a modern, world-class business district serving as a benchmark for urban regeneration and sustainable economic growth.
