LONDON : The oldest human remains have been discovered in northern Britain, and scientists say that these remains belong to a girl who died about 11,000 years ago at the age of 3. This new discovery was made in a cave in the village of Ursock, near northwest England. Dr. Rick Patterson of Lancashire University has said about the discovery that these remains belong to a very young girl, who could be between two and a half and three years old. The method used by the researchers to determine the burial date of such ancient remains is called ‘radiocarbon dating’. After this discovery, the question now arises as to why this girl was kept in the cave. Investigations are being carried out in this regard.
