LONDON : The lost home of English poet and writer William Shakespeare has been found after 400 years. It has long been known that Shakespeare owned a property in Blackfriars during the last years of his life, but new evidence has now emerged, as a professor researches two London playhouses. The professor found three documents during his research, which not only reveal the exact location but also the layout and size of the property purchased by William Shakespeare in 1613. The plan mentioned in the records was originally a large building in the shape of an ‘L’, which was close to the theatre and pub, and unfortunately, the building was destroyed by fire. The property had been sold by William’s granddaughter Elizabeth a year before the incident.
