Part of nose ring gets stuck in woman’s lung.

MEXICO : A woman in Mexico who had been suffering from a cough for a long time, when doctors examined her, discovered that a part of her nose ring was stuck in her lung. Monica Deianera Carbera Barajas, 26, had been suffering from a persistent cough for a month, after which she decided to consult a doctor. She hoped that the X-ray would solve her problem, but she could never have imagined that part of her nose ring was stuck in it. According to doctors, the round metal barbell was only 0.5 millimeters away from her aorta. She underwent emergency surgery, but the 20-minute surgery was not successful even after an hour and a half and the doctors were unable to remove it because it had become stuck to the body. Later, a more complex surgery was performed to remove it. Doctors said she was lucky to have survived.
