Two key Bangladeshi cricketers, Naheed Rana and Shoriful Islam, have departed from Peshawar Zalmi to return home ahead of Bangladesh’s upcoming series against New Zealand national cricket team.

Both players featured in Zalmi’s recent Pakistan Super League fixture against Multan Sultans, where Naheed delivered an impressive spell, picking up two wickets for 24 runs in four overs, while Shoriful also contributed with a disciplined bowling performance.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board had granted a one-day extension to their No Objection Certificates (NOCs) following requests from Pakistan Cricket Board and Peshawar Zalmi, allowing the duo to fulfil their PSL commitments before rejoining national duties.
Their early return is aimed at ensuring full participation in Bangladesh’s preparations for the home series against New Zealand.
