During the meeting, Dr. Danish Aman briefed Brigadier Lakhiar on the operations and economic impact of Pakistan’s second-largest export-oriented industry, emphasizing the leather sector’s substantial contribution to national GDP. Brigadier Lakhiar expressed appreciation for the sector’s efforts and its role in strengthening the country’s economy.
The discussion later shifted to emergency healthcare, where Brigadier Lakhiar provided an overview of SIEHS’s ambulance services, ongoing projects, and operational framework, highlighting initiatives to enhance emergency response across Sindh.
