Islamabad, April 2, 2026: The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS), in collaboration with the Turkish Red Crescent Society (Turk K?z?lay), organized a blood donation drive at the Embassy of Türkiye in Islamabad, highlighting the strong humanitarian partnership between the two National Societies.

His Excellency Dr. Irfan Neziro?lu, Ambassador of Türkiye to Pakistan, along with diplomats and embassy staff, actively participated in the drive, donating blood to support patients in need. The event was also attended by PRCS Chairperson Mrs. Farzhana Naek, TRCS Head of Delegation in Pakistan Ms. Beyza Taner, and staff from both organizations, underscoring close cooperation and shared commitment to lifesaving initiatives.
Dr. Neziro?lu praised PRCS for its efforts in promoting voluntary blood donation and emphasized the moral and humanitarian importance of supporting communities in need. Mrs. Naek thanked all participants, calling voluntary blood donation one of the noblest acts of humanity, noting that a single unit of blood can save lives and bring hope to those in critical need.
The initiative reflects the continued commitment of PRCS and Turk K?z?lay to collaborative humanitarian action, ensuring the availability of safe blood and strengthening community wellbeing across Pakistan.
