The delegation, led by HKSCA President Muhammad Saeed Sheikh, included Majyd Aziz, Kashif Ghayas, Jalal Uddin, and Yasir Qazi. During the meeting, they highlighted ongoing collaborative initiatives between Houston and Karachi, particularly in relief efforts following the 2025 floods.

President Sheikh outlined contributions by partner organizations, including Helping Hands for Relief and Development (HHRD), AFDR, PAGH, and APPNA-STC, in humanitarian assistance and development projects. He also shared details of long-term initiatives such as youth cricket training programs and explored opportunities for expanding bilateral engagement.

The Governor of Sindh appreciated the association’s efforts in education, humanitarian assistance, and youth development. He commended the sister-city concept and acknowledged HKSCA’s contributions, assuring full support for ongoing and future initiatives.

As a gesture of goodwill, Muhammad Saeed Sheikh presented the Seal of the City of Houston on behalf of the Mayor of Houston to the Governor, who, in turn, presented a commemorative shield to the delegation.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to strengthening ties between Houston and Karachi through collaborative projects and sustained engagement.
