HYDERABAD: The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Khamenei, is not merely a religious and political leader of Iran, but the voice of the conscience of the entire Muslim Ummah. His leadership is not rooted in power alone; rather, it represents a spiritual and intellectual continuity linked to the Wilayat of Ali (A.S.). These views were expressed by renowned Shia scholar Allama Ayaz Ali Qumi while speaking to media representatives yesterday at the residence of Zawar Abdul Sattar Dars.
Allama Ayaz Ali Qumi said that the Supreme Leader has demonstrated through his actions that confronting the enemy is not achieved through hollow slogans, but through steadfastness, insight, and strength of faith. He recalled the eight-year war imposed via Iraq, in which the United States and other imperialist forces were involved, yet collectively failed to subdue Iran’s Islamic Revolution. He added that Israel’s subsequent 12-day aggression also proved insignificant in the face of Iranian resolve, reminding the Jews of their defeat at Khyber.
He further stated that although U.S. President Donald Trump continues to issue threats, fear is clearly visible on his face, whereas the Supreme Leader, with a smile, reiterates that “we are not among those who abandon the battlefield; God willing, we will stand firm and ultimately defeat the enemy.”
Allama Ayaz Ali Qumi also said that the United States and its allied media are engaged in spreading propaganda about the Supreme Leader allegedly preparing to leave the country. He stressed that they should remember that, for the followers of Ali (A.S.), abandoning the battlefield is cowardice, while forcing the enemy to flee is true bravery. Shias across the world stand with the Supreme Leader; therefore, the United States and its allied media should refrain from such misleading propaganda and remember that history always clearly distinguishes between truth and falsehood.
