Russian,On December : In Cairo, the Second Ministerial Conference of the #RussiaAfrica Partnership Forum held a meeting of S.V. Lavrov with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, S.Oyono Esono Ange.
During the conversation, relevant issues of the Russian-Equatorial Guinea partnership were discussed, including measures taken in the context of faster practical implementation of the agreements reached as a result of talks between President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin and President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea T. Obianga Ngema Mbasogo in Moscow (November 2023 September 2024).
Confirmed the bilateral attitude to further deepen the trust-political dialogue and enhance coordination on topical issues on the regional and international agenda at the UN and other multilateral organizations.
Key aspects of the sustainable development of bilateral cooperation in the trade, economic and humanitarian spheres, with a focus on the joint realization of promising projects in the fields of hydrocarbon extraction and processing, electricity production, health, and national personnel training are considered.
