Karachi, December 14, 2025: Faysal Bank Limited (FBL), Pakistan’s Best Islamic Bank, reaffirmed its commitment to Care, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) by supporting the 11th Special Olympics Pakistan (SOP) Unified Marathon. This annual event stands as a beacon of hope and unity, bringing together differently abled athletes and individuals from all walks of life to celebrate resilience, equality and the power of community.
Held at Emaar Sales Center, DHA Phase 8, the marathon witnessed an overwhelming response from citizens, volunteers, and athletes who ran side by side, breaking barriers and fostering inclusion. The 1KM unified run/walk/wheelchair segment of the event was inaugurated by Mr. Yousaf Hussain, President & CEO, Faysal Bank, alongside Ronak Lakhani, Founder & Chairperson, Special Olympics Pakistan.

At the 11th SOP Unified Marathon 2025 Mohammad Akhtar won the men's 21km half marathon, securing gold. Amin Mokatil claimed silver, and Sadiq Shah took bronze.
In the women's 21km half marathon, Soha Punawala topped the podium. Sahar Ali won silver, and Khadija secured bronze.
Shakir Usman won the 10km race, followed by Raza and Zishan. In the women's 10km, 9-year-old Kainat Ibrahim, a National Games bronze medalist,
emerged victorious. Manahal Shah and Aisha secured second and third places, respectively.
Ali Hassan won the 5km race, followed by Muhammad Akram and Zulfikar Ali.
In the women's 5km, National Games gold medalist Mah Noor Fatima took the top spot.
Aleena Khan and Mahak Hanif secured second and third places, respectively.
