Karachi : The Handicraft Association of Pakistan – Sindh Chapter organized a vibrant gathering and meeting at Mehran Hotel, Karachi. The event was graced by the presence of Chairperson Ms. Ayesha Farooqui and Vice Chairperson Ms. Asma Amir, who once again distributed membership certificates among the members. They also shared exciting opportunities for international collaboration with local artisans.

The event was further enhanced by the special presence of renowned fashion designer Farnaz Mustafa and acclaimed makeup artist Ms. Alia Tipu, both of whom shared encouraging and inspiring thoughts with the attendees.


Members of the Executive Committee Sindh — Ms. Nida Nawab, Ms. Asma Wajid, and Coordinator Ms. Asma Tabassum — also participated in the event. Alongside them, a large number of members attended the prestigious event, including Ms. Saima Mirza, Ms. Saima Sohail, Ms. Samreen, Ms. Shaista Kausar, Ms. Dinesh Wahaj, Ms. Shazia Farhan, and Ms. Afshan Asif. The participation of all these esteemed members added further grace and prestige to the event.


We are also pleased to announce that the official office of the Handicraft Association of Pakistan – Sindh Region has now been established in Gulistan-e-Johar, Karachi. This office will serve not only as the regional headquarters for Karachi (Sindh) but also as a permanent handicraft store, showcasing and selling the artistic creations of artisans from across Sindh.

A tribute was paid to the late senior member and former Vice Chairperson Ms. Yasmin Misbah. Meanwhile, heartfelt congratulations and floral bouquets were presented to Ms. Afshan Durrani and Ms. Rabia Asif on the blessed occasion of performing Hajj and Umrah.
