Researcher and Poet of the Urdu World, While the Organizing Duties were Performed

Toronto Canada : A Â beautiful ceremony titled “Welcoming Ceremony and Poetry” was organized in honor of the resident of Shahr-e-Quaid Alami Mushaira, who came from Pakistan,
under the auspices of the literary  organization Karwan Sher-e-Sukhna and the International Council of Arts (Canada). The ceremony was held at the local hall in Toronto, Canada. The event was presided over by Dr. Syed Taqi Abidi, a prominent Urdu writer, researcher, and poet, while the special guest was Mr. Aizaz Mahmood Ahmed Khan, who came from Pakistan. The event was hosted by Sardar Khan, a prominent academic and literary figure based in Canada. The beautiful thing about the event was the direction of Sardar Khan, which was very much appreciated by the audience. The immense efforts of Basharat Rehan, Director of Karwan Sharo Sokhan and International Council of Arts (Canada), who are the guarantee of
the success of literary events in Canada, made the event a great success, and the number of audience and viewers indicated that the hall was running out of space. The audience stood in the Mushaira
Hall as there were no empty chairs. The ceremony began with hymns and prayers. Basharat Rehan, a beloved personality and host of the event, laid a new foundation at the beginning of the event, which was that the president of the event began the event. It was requested that the president of the event, Dr. Syed Taqi Abidi, deliver the opening sermon, upon which the moderator of the poetry reading, Sardar Khan, invited the president of the event to the dais. The president of the gathering gave a wonderful talk on Hazrat Dagh Dehlvi, which was not only listened to attentively by all the friends present in the hall, but also Basharat Rehan’s efforts were greatly appreciated. After the opening sermon, the poetry recital began. The names of the poets who presented their poems in the poetry recital were as follows: Babar Nasrullah Khan Sahi, Saleem Iftikhar Baig, Sabiha Khan Sabiha, Hameed Hameed, Abdul Lahai Basharat, Bushri Saeed, Dr. Uzma Mahmood, Basharat Rehan, Asma Warsi, Salman Athar, Tauqeer A Khan, Qaiser Wajdi, Rashid Nadeem, Dr. Syed Taqi Abidi, all the poets invited to the poetry recital chose beautiful poems and received great appreciation from the audience. The guests of honor of the event, Rashid Nadeem and Tauqir A. Khan, said that today’s event was a memorable event that will be remembered for years, and we congratulate the International Council of the Arts (Canada) and the director of Karwan Sharo Sakhan and the accomplished poet Basharat Rehan for organizing the successful event.
President, Honorable and Special Guest Mahmood Ahmed Khan, while expressing his views, said that not only are there eminent personalities on the stage in today’s event, but also there are excellent scholars and literary figures in the audience. The coming together of such personalities at a single event is undoubtedly a unique feat. I have no qualms about saying that I will take the most precious memory of this event with me from Canada, and I congratulate Basharat Rehan, whose efforts made today’s event reach the pinnacle of its success. The President of the event, Dr. Syed Taqi Abidi, said in his presidential address that I congratulate Basharat Rehan, who has recognized literary events in Canada and guaranteed their success, and I tell him that possible today, and poets from all over the world consider it an honor to participate in this poetry festival.
I am always available for his every event. I feel very happy to participate in Basharat Rehan’s celebrations, and I praised Mahmood Ahmed Khan for his efforts in promoting literature and language, and said that undoubtedly, the Shashank Sher-e-Qa’id International Poetry Festival is not only the identity of Pakistan, but the true dedication, honesty and hard work of Mahmood Khan have made the Shashank Sher-e-Qa’id Poetry Festival possible today, and poets from all over the world consider it an honor to participate in this poetry festival. At the end of the event, host and director Hameed Hameed thanked all the friends, while director of Karwan Sher-e-Sukhna and International Council of Arts Basharat Rehan assured of organizing such events in the future. Today, due to their efforts, the Mushaira was not only watched live all over the world, but they also made an excellent recording of the Mushaira, for which I am grateful to them and sent a message to all other organizations that I am with everyone for the promotion of literature, regardless of color, religion, or race. Tea and other amenities were arranged for the audience in the Mushaira Hall. At the end of the Mushaira, Basharat Rehan arranged a splendid dinner for all the friends present in the hall, thus ending a memorable and successful event.
