Pakistan is set to travel to Bangladesh next month for a three-match T20I series, scheduled to start on July 20. The fixtures, part of the reciprocal cricketing arrangement between the two nations, will be played on July 20, 22, and 24, with venue details to be announced soon by the Bangladesh Cricket Board.
This upcoming tour follows Bangladesh’s recent series in Pakistan, where the home team secured a convincing 3-0 win, showcasing strong performances in both batting and bowling.
Confirming the tour, Pakistan’s T20I captain Salman Ali Agha said that this series, along with an upcoming tour of the West Indies, will help the team prepare for spin-friendly conditions ahead of major tournaments. He also mentioned the importance of adapting strategies, especially with the Asia Cup expected to take place in the UAE, which features similar pitch conditions.
The T20 World Cup is scheduled to be held in India later this year, but due to political tensions, Pakistan will play its matches at a neutral venue—likely Sri Lanka—under the ICC’s approved hybrid model.
