PMDC Introduces Online Licensing System for Medical and Dental Registrations in Punjab
The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has introduced an online licensing system for the registration of medical and dental colleges in Punjab. With this new system, doctors will no longer need to travel to Islamabad, as all registration services are now accessible at the PMDC office in Lahore.
PMDC President Dr. Rizwan Taj called the launch a historic development and assured that applicants will receive full support through the online portal. Original certificates will be delivered to practitioners via courier.
He also announced that the system will be rolled out nationwide in stages. The second phase will begin in Peshawar and Karachi, followed by the third phase in Jamshoro and Balochistan. The fourth phase will extend the service to Multan.
