Islamabad: Today, a group from Team Balochistan, led by Chairman Changgaiz Hussain Khan, visited the National Institute of Maritime Affairs (NIMA) for an important meeting. They met with Vice Admiral (Rtd) Ahmed Saeed and other NIMA leaders to discuss ways to work together for the development of Balochistan.
The delegation included several key figures, such as Muhammad Changgaiz Khan, Madam Sarah Bano, and Mir Imdad Rind. They talked about various topics, including:
- Partnership Opportunities: Finding ways for Team Balochistan and NIMA to collaborate and share resources.
- Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): How these goals can help improve the maritime sector and the economy in Balochistan.
- Gwadar Development: Discussing infrastructure and the economic potential of Gwadar for regional trade.
- Ship Breaking and Environment: Addressing environmental issues related to ship breaking and looking for sustainable practices.
- Tourism Potential: Exploring opportunities for tourism, especially along the coast and related to religious sites.
During the meeting, Mir Imdad Rind presented these ideas, and everyone participated actively, showing enthusiasm for future cooperation.
As a gesture of respect, Team Balochistan gifted Vice Admiral Ahmed Saeed a traditional Balouchi dastaar and chadder, while NIMA presented gifts to the delegation.
The meeting ended with a commitment to work together and hold regular discussions to make a positive impact in Balochistan.
