Prof. Bikha Ram, Prof. Nawaz Lashari, Prof. Khawar Kazmi, Prof. Masroor, Prof. Shabin Naz, Prof. Abdul Manan, Dr. Zeeshan, Prof. Akhtar Baloch, Prof. Aftab, Prof. Azizur Rehman addressed the address.
Under the auspices of Pakistan Society of Internal Medicine and Sir Syed College of Medical Sciences Faz Girls, a cardio-metabolic awareness seminar was organized at a local hotel in which awareness was given to prevent heart diseases and diabetes. Former Caretaker Health Minister Punjab Dr. Javed Akram was the chief guest of the seminar.Dr. Farah Naz Farooq organized the seminar.

Professor Bikha Ram, Prof. Nawaz Lashari, Prof. Khawar Kazmi, Prof. Syed Masroor Ahmed, Prof. Shabin Naz Masood, Prof. Abdul Manan Junejo, Dr. Zeeshan Ali, Prof. Akhtar Baloch, Prof. Aftab Mohsin and Professor Azizur Rehman addressed while Dr. Shabnam Naveed expressed gratitude.A large number of doctors and medical students participated in the seminar.

Addressing the seminar on this occasion, the organizer and well-known diabetes expert Prof. Zaman Sheikh said that Pakistan ranks third in diabetes after China and India. Unhealthy lifestyle. Pakistani people live by exercise while obesity is becoming common in the country.

He said that diabetes is a silent killer that increases the complications of other diseases.Eyesight and kidneys are affected, feet are affected, heart attacks are caused, so these complications can be avoided by controlling sugar.

Appreciating the organization of the seminar, Dr. Javed Akram said that to avoid heart and diabetes diseases, one has to adopt a healthy lifestyle and avoid fast food.Exercise is very important with this. Atif Iqbal, CEO of HiQ, said that the purpose of today’s seminar is to educate patients about diabetes and heart diseases and to train medical students to improve the society.

In order to make the country and the nation healthy, pharmaceutical companies keep organizing these types of seminars to spread awareness about diseases.Sugar is an enemy, not to be afraid of it, but to fight it by taking treatment and preventive measures.

The medical experts further said that there are diabetes patients in every house and it is not known due to lack of awareness. Awareness seminars should be organized in educational institutions to prevent obesity and diabetes.

Regular campaigns should be conducted against it. It is our responsibility to inform,What should be done to control diabetes is not being done at the government level, doctors are giving information to the patients on their own, whose number is negligible, diabetes is the second partner, it goes on with life, doctors are treating the patients with treatment. Also give notice.
