Uzbekistan: Qatar Airways, the national carrier of the State of Qatar, proudly announces the commencement of its non-stop flights to Tashkent, Uzbekistan, marking a significant milestone in its relentless pursuit of global connectivity. On the 2nd of June, 2024, the airline made history as it touched down at Tashkent International Airport (TAS), embarking on a journey that promises seamless travel experiences and cultural exploration for passengers.

The introduction of this new route underscores Qatar Airways’ commitment to expanding its network across Central Asia. With four weekly flights operating between Doha (DOH) and Tashkent (TAS), passengers can now enjoy unparalleled connectivity facilitated by Qatar Airways’ state-of-the-art fleet. These flights not only enhance travel options but also serve as a testament to the airline’s dedication to fostering cultural exchange and economic growth.

Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, the Group Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Airways, expressed his excitement about the launch of the Tashkent route, emphasizing its significance in providing travelers with access to Uzbekistan’s cultural and economic hub. Tashkent, with its rich tapestry of natural wonders and historical landmarks, serves as a gateway to Uzbekistan’s vibrant culture and storied past. As a pivotal stop on the world-renowned Silk Road, Tashkent beckons travelers with its captivating blend of ancient traditions and modern charm. Qatar Airways’ inclusion of Tashkent in its extensive network of over 170 destinations opens up a world of possibilities for passengers eager to explore Uzbekistan’s diverse attractions.

Passengers can now embark on their journey to Tashkent from Doha every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, with Qatar Airways’ convenient flight schedule ensuring optimal connectivity and flexibility. Flight No. QR377 departs from Doha at 19:50, arriving in Tashkent at 01:20 the following day. The return journey, Flight No. QR378, takes off from Tashkent at 03:20, touching down in Doha at 05:20, offering travelers the utmost convenience and comfort throughout their voyage.
