Today in Gaza, a humanitarian aid delivery turned deadly as gunfire erupted, resulting in the tragic loss of five Palestinian lives and several others wounded. The incident occurred as thousands gathered for the arrival of approximately 15 trucks carrying essential supplies, including flour and food.
The Palestine Red Crescent confirmed the casualties, highlighting the chaos and desperation surrounding the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza. A UN-backed report has recently revealed alarming statistics, indicating that half of Gaza’s population is currently experiencing catastrophic hunger. Without urgent intervention, famine is projected to strike the northern region of the territory.
