Beautiful example of religious , mutual harmony and brotherhood in the Chitral Valley Kailash.
CHITRAL: Kalash and Muslim community living in three valleys Bumborat, Birir and Rumbor but there is no sectarianism crises or biased to each other. These people living in these valleys with great mutual harmony and regularly participate in each and every religious, cultural or any ceremony or event. Mostly Kalash people converting to Islam but their family never angry on them and give them their heirs, property and even allow them to live in Kalash house with their family. When ever a Kalash male or female die Muslim attend their condolence and religious ceremony. Kalash women shifting to Bashalini during their menses period and before delivery a baby. In case if the Kalash woman die during her delivery according to Kalash religious they are not allow to touch that woman but Muslim community goes to Bashalini to burry the dead Kalash woman. There are several examples of Kalash and Muslim mutual harmony and peace loving life.
Recently two Muslims namely Haji Zafar Ahmed and Haji Qari Nazir Ahmed who had gone for Haj pilgrim when they came to their valley Muslim and Kalash bothly jointly welcome them. They received a warm welcome by the Kailash tribe on their arrival at the Kailash Rombor, after receiving the pilgrimage.
Chief Qazi Sherzada Qazi, and Qazi Fazal Azam from the Kalash community Village Council Chairman Sultan, former MPA minister’s father Bashgali Khan, Kalash Leader PTI Domboor’s Sadar Barzangi Khan Kalash Azeb Khan Information Secretary PTI Romber, Tash Khan Kalash, Qazi Qand, Sheikh Inayat, women from kalash community and the elders of the area warmly welcomed these two persons from Muslim community who returned after performing Haji Baitullah. This is the third family who became Muslims from the Kilash community who received the pilgrimage. On this occasion former Special Assistant to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on minority affairs Wazir Zada Kalash Congratulates to Haji Qari and Haji Nazir Ahmed’s family on behalf of the Kalash tribe.
