190 Million Pounds Case saw a key development as the Islamabad High Court fixed June 29 for the hearing of appeals filed by former prime minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi.
According to the court’s weekly cause list issued by the registrar office, the appeals will be taken up for regular hearing on the scheduled date.
The case will be heard by a division bench comprising Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court Justice Sarfraz Dogar and Justice Muhammad Asif.
Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, and Bushra Bibi have also filed contempt of court petitions alongside their appeals in the 190 million pounds reference.
Earlier, the court had directed lawyers to ensure that vakalatnamas (power of attorney documents) are properly signed and submitted within seven days.
