Remarkable to see a mosque, church, and synagogue side by side, with the crescent, cross, and menorah all illuminated. The children of Abraham have more in common to unite than to divide. The stunning Abrahamic Family House, bringing together the three great monotheistic religions – Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
Chairman Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) Imam Allama Muhammad Ahsan Siddiqui said the Abrahamic Family House in Abu Dhabi, a UAE initiative for interfaith friendship. This is an important opportunity for all who believe in the power of faith and humanity. It will help build bridges between religious leaders and communities as well as foster peace and harmony in an era that is often defined by difference. The Abrahamic Family House will build tolerance and brotherhood between the Abrahamic faiths in the Middle East. He said UAE’s values of bringing people and cultures together, the Abrahamic Family House embodies the diversity of Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE, home to vibrant multicultural communities of various faiths. The project was inspired by the principles in the Document on Human Fraternity, signed by His Holiness Pope Francis and His Eminence Grand Imam Dr Ahmed El-Tayeb in Abu Dhabi in 2019.
