Karachi Pakistan : Majyd Aziz, Former President Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in a press statement, while paying tributes to the valiant Armed Forces on their exemplary role in trouncing the Eastern neighbor, has called on the private sector to take advantage of this decisive victory to market the new Pakistan. He especially requested the top industrialists, stock exchange members, and major importers to form a delegation that should visit capitals of major cities in China, North America, Europe, East Asia and Arab countries.
Majyd Aziz, who is also Former President Employers Federation of Pakistan, requested luminaries of private sector such as Mian Mansha, Bashir Alimuhammad, Aqeel Karim Dhedhi, Arif Habib, Mian Abdullah, etc to take a delegation of a dozen of their colleagues and impress upon the private sector and politicians in these countries that Pakistan is a peace loving nation and there is huge scope for trade and investment. The delegation should also highlight the superb performance of the Armed Forces. The members of the delegation would have a one-point agenda, “Pakistan”, and should refrain from promoting personal businesses.
Majyd Aziz also advised them to obtain detailed briefing from the Armed Forces and the government and should stress that the delegation would only consist of private sector representatives. The logistics can be provided by the Pakistani diplomats stationed at these capitals. At the same time, he also advised leaders of various Chambers and Associations to undertake such trips to promote Pakistan. The popularity graph of Pakistan has risen considerably after the recent Indo-Pak imbroglio, and this is the time to market Pakistan.
