Karachi, February, 2025 – The Standing Committee of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) on Communications & Public Relations convened a session to observe Kashmir Solidarity Day, where members reaffirmed their unwavering support for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJK). The committee reiterated that Pakistan’s business community stands firmly with the Kashmiri people in their struggle for self-determination, as recognized by UN resolutions, said Convener of the Committee Shujaat Ali Baig.
During the session, members acknowledged that the prolonged conflict in IIOJK continued to impact human rights, economic stability, and regional trade opportunities. The committee stressed that a peaceful resolution remains vital for sustainable economic growth and stability in South Asia. It also urged the international business community and trade organizations to recognize these challenges and advocate for peace and justice.
The committee underscored its commitment to advocacy and awareness, pledging to continue highlighting the Kashmir issue across national and international platforms. It remains dedicated to fostering dialogue that promotes economic cooperation, trade development, and long-term regional stability.
Marking the occasion, the Standing Committee of the FPCCI on Communications & PR also called for collective efforts to support the Kashmiri people and uphold their right to self-determination.
