There has been a telephonic contact between Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), in the telephone conversation between Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Bill Gates, public health and polio eradication efforts were discussed in Pakistan.

ISPR said that Bill Gates appreciated the contribution and role of Pakistan Army in the National Polio Campaign and said that the National Polio Campaign is being successfully conducted at all levels.
The Chief of Army Staff appreciated the contribution of Bill Gates for this great cause and reiterated his determination to ensure a polio-free Pakistan.
