The APICTA Awards is a highly esteemed international platform that recognizes and promotes technological innovation and excellence across the Asia-Pacific region. Pakistani participants – comprising IT companies, startups and academic institutions – will showcase their groundbreaking projects across diverse categories; highlighting the immense potential and creativity of Pakistan’s tech industry.

Sajjad Syed, Chairman P@SHA, explained that the APICTA Awards serve as a global stage for our innovators to showcase their brilliance and creativity. Pakistan’s consistent achievements at APICTA reflect the immense potential of our IT sector. We are proud to lead the country’s delegation and continue to advocate for greater visibility and opportunities for Pakistan’s tech industry on the global stage. We are confident that our participants will bring honor to the country once again, he added.

Muhammad Umair Nizam, Senior Vice Chairman of P@SHA, recalled that, over the years, Pakistan has earned a reputation for showcasing exceptional talent and innovation at APICTA; bringing home numerous accolades and solidifying its position as a key player in the region’s digital transformation.

Nadeem Malik, Secretary General P@SHA, informed that four Pakistanis have been honored to be jury members of these IT awards of international significance: Muhammad Zohaib Khan, immediate-past Chairman P@SHA, is an APICTA 2024 Judge & Executive Committee member; Dr. Shoab Ahmed Khan is an APICTA 2024 Judge & member ExCom; Badar Khushnood, former Chairmen P@SHA and Dr. Usman Akram, are also on the esteemed panel of judges for APICTA. It is an achievement of Pakistan that leaders from our own IT industry are representing the green flag on such a credible international platform, he added.

P@SHA is the sole Pakistani entity globally accredited and recognized by leading industry organizations; including WITSA (World Information Technology and Services Alliance); ASOCIO (Asian Oceanic Computing Industry Organization) and APICTA (Asia-Pacific ICT Alliance).
