TDAP Empowers Women Entrepreneurs in Quetta Through Business Formalization and Export Readiness
The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) organized a focused seminar in Quetta aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs with the tools and knowledge to enter the formal business sector and prepare for export opportunities.
Mr. Zain Ul Abideen, Focal Person (Women Division, TDAP), led the session with a detailed presentation on how to register a business, fulfill tax requirements, protect a brand, and meet documentation standards critical for export eligibility. With a strong emphasis on formalization and compliance, he highlighted the strategic advantages of early registration for women-owned businesses in Balochistan.
The seminar featured a welcome address by Mr. Muhammad Ishfaq, General Secretary, Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI), and closing remarks by Mr. Muhammad Ismael, Manager at Taraqee Foundation. A dedicated mentorship session was conducted by Mrs. Asiya Tariq, Founder of Dastkar, who shared practical insights from her entrepreneurial journey.
