Standing Committee on Commerce Meets to Discuss Export Payments.

Islamabad: On August 19, the Standing Committee on Commerce convened at the Parliament House, chaired by MNA Javaid Hanif. The meeting was attended by Commerce Minister Jam Kamal and Secretary Commerce. MNA Ikhtiar Baig raised concerns regarding the overdue payments of Duty Drawback of Local Taxes and Levies (DLTL) to exporters. The issue highlights ongoing challenges faced by exporters due to delayed payments, impacting their operations and financial stability. The committee discussed possible solutions to expedite the settlement of these outstanding payments and support the export sector.
