Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has announced a new crackdown on consumers using gas compressors to artificially boost gas pressure.
An SNGPL spokesperson urged consumers to refrain from using gas compressors, as they deprive others of their fair share of supply.
The spokesperson assured that SNGPL will continue to provide gas throughout the winter season, with special emphasis on peak demand hours.
He said that gas is being supplied at adequate pressure, with low-pressure issues reported only in certain tail-end areas.
Consumers experiencing gas pressure issues are encouraged to report complaints by calling the helpline at 1199 for immediate resolution.
Meanwhile, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has issued revised winter gas supply schedule to meet seasonal demands.
Under SNGPL’s new timetable, gas will be provided at full pressure during the following designated periods:
Morning: 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM
Afternoon: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Evening: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
