KARACHI — The Sindh Human Rights Department has appointed renowned educationist, public speaker and social activist Dr Muhammad Furqan Bilal as focal person for Child Education protection initiatives across the province.

According to an official notification issued by the department, Dr Furqan Bilal will provide voluntary educational advisory services focused on awareness campaigns, coordination with relevant institutions, policy matters and capacity-building efforts to strengthen the protection of children’s educational rights.
The appointment aims to enhance collaboration between government institutions, education stakeholders and social organisations working to create a safer and more supportive learning environment for children.
Dr Muhammad Furqan Bilal expressed gratitude to the Sindh Human Rights Department for placing confidence in him. He said he would perform his responsibilities with honesty, dedication and commitment towards protecting children’s educational rights.
He further stated that his efforts would focus on promoting child education protection and creating greater awareness among communities. He added that cooperation between relevant institutions would play an important role in building a safer and better society.
The notification stated that the appointment has come into effect immediately and will remain valid until further orders.
