Sindh Government Advances AI Capacity Building for Government Officers
Sindh government officers attend a specialized session on artificial intelligence and digital governance.
The Government of Sindh is expanding artificial intelligence capacity among government officers through specialized training sessions.
Dr. Ammara Aftab, Founder and CEO of Pro AI Global, led the sessions.
The training focused on practical uses of AI in government administration. Topics included AI-enabled planning, digital governance, project intelligence and decision support.
The sessions also addressed responsible AI adoption within government institutions.
Officers Receive AI Training
BPS-19 officers from the 3rd Senior Management Course participated in the training.
A total of 101 newly inducted BPS-17 officers under the Common Training Program also attended.
The sessions aimed to strengthen officers’ understanding of AI tools and their potential role in public administration.

Participants explored how AI can support planning and improve decision-making processes.
SINDH AI Framework Introduced
Dr. Ammara also introduced the SINDH AI Framework during the sessions.
The framework focuses on intelligence, decision gates, human control and responsible AI adoption.
The training stressed that AI should support administrative decision-making.
However, government officers must retain final authority and accountability for official decisions.
The approach places human oversight at the centre of AI adoption in government.
