Karachi : Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE’s ruler representative in the Al-Dhafra region, UAE consul general in Karachi Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Al Rumaihiti met Sindh energy minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah.
Both sides discussed investment in interior Sindh region. Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said that Sindh is rich in natural resources and is very useful for foreign investment.
He said that 3000 megawatts of electricity was being generated from Thar coal and added to the national grid, which was reducing the electricity crises in the country. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan said that UAE is interested in investing in Pakistan and in future investments will be made in electricity and other projects. Sheikh Hamdan expressed his determination that the UAE government is always with Pakistan in every difficult time.
