Karachi : The National Council of ICMA, in its 413th session, elected the following office bearers:
- Mr. Shehzad Ahmed Malik, FCMA – President
- Mr. Muhammad Yasin, FMCA – Vice President
- Mr. Shaham Ahmed, FCMA – Honorary Secretary
- Ms. Marryum Parvaiz, FCMA – Honorary Treasurer
Mr. Shehzad Ahmed Malik, FCMA, M.A. in Economics, CFC(USA), Employer Trainer of ICAEW is a highly experienced professional with over 25 years in management consultancy and finance. He currently serves as the CEO of SMNCO (Shehzad Malik Management Consultants Pvt Ltd.) and holds various board positions in Pakistani companies. He is also a board member of SAFA, contributing to its Committee on Education, CPD, and Training. He represented ICMA on the Members’ Development Committee of the Confederation of Asia and Pacific Accountants (CAPA). At ICMA, he chairs the Technical Support and Practice Development (TSPD) Committee, the Executive Committee, and the Education Committee. With over 24 years of professional experience, Mr. Malik has held significant roles such as Vice President & Hon Secretary at ICMA. Finance Director/CFO at Islamabad Electric Supply Company and Army Welfare Trust (AWT). He has contributed to the Ministry of Finance’s Tax Reforms & Anomaly Committees of FBR served as a faculty member at several universities and ICMA International. Moreover, he holds honorary positions in various committees of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Advisor at Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO). He has also worked with World Bank and HEC on different projects.
Mr. Muhammad Yasin, FCMA, and CIPFA (UK), served on ICMA’s National Council (2018-2020). He has held roles such as Chairman of the Research and Publications Committee and Honorary Treasurer, and has also been President of PIPFA’s Board of Governors. With over 24 years of diversified experience spanning across sectors including Textile, Oil & Gas, Media, Aviation, Supply Chain, and Education, he is currently the Group CFO at The Superior Group and a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM).
Mr. Shaham Ahmed, Staff General Manager at Pak Suzuki, serves as Honorary Secretary of ICMA, contributes to academia as a visiting faculty, and leads transformative initiatives in business development, sustainability, and global recognition, including digitizing examinations and fostering vocational education partnerships. His dedication to advancing professional standards and fostering industry-academia collaboration is exemplary.
Ms. Marryum Pervaiz, Secretary to the Competition Commission of Pakistan, is also heading Chairman Secretariat and Mergers & Acquisitions Department encompassing a wealth of expertise amassed over two decades. Previously, Ms. Pervaiz honed her financial acumen at Shelter & Shelter (Pvt) Ltd. Notably, her contributions extend to ICMA Pakistan, where she played pivotal roles as a Member and Secretary of the Islamabad Branch Council.
