Karachi: Introductory session and coaching program of baseball game was conducted in Adamji Govt.Science College Karachi, organized by Sindh Baseball Association SBA and DotsnPix under the patronage of Pakistan Federation Baseball PFB. Secretary SBA Parwaiz Ahmed Sheikh and former baseball player & Principal host College Prof.Rumina Akhtar provided introduction and basic information about Baseball.
Senior Director Physical Education, GM Syed Maqbool Ahmed Marshall and Sensei Shahzad Ahmed gave lectures to the participants on fitness, importance of sports in educational institutions. On this occasion, guests were presented with gifts of Ajraks & DotsnpPix Shirts on behalf of SBA President Engr.Muhammad Mohsin Khan.Prof. Arif Younis was also present on this occasion.
Later, Sindh Head Coach Amir Saleem along with Coach Azimuddin and Pervaiz Shaikh conducted a practical session and explained various pitching, fielding and hitting actions and conducted practical exercises.
Meanwhile, President PFB, Syed Fakhar Ali Shah has said that our focus is on establishing baseball camps and academies across the country at the grass root level in connection with the baseball promotion mission.Because baseball game is being played not only in Higher Education Commission but also in Pakistan Boards,and by organizing this game in schools and colleges, students will not only get an opportunity to participate in competitions, but they will also be able to get scholarships.
