Samsung replaces the Vascular Load feature with Blood Pressure Trend on Galaxy smartwatches.

Samsung smartwatches in the United States will lose the Vascular Load feature when Samsung Health version 7.0 and One UI 9 Watch begin rolling out in late July.

The update will remove Vascular Load from supported Galaxy Watch models in the US. However, users will still be able to download their existing Vascular Load data through the Samsung Health app by selecting More Options, Settings, and Download Personal Data.

Meanwhile, Samsung will introduce a new feature called Blood Pressure Trend. The tool will debut on the company’s upcoming Galaxy Watch models.

Furthermore, Blood Pressure Trend will monitor users’ blood pressure over time and display long-term trends. The feature will also provide personalised tips to encourage healthier daily habits.

Before using the feature, users must calibrate their smartwatch with a traditional blood pressure cuff. This process ensures more accurate blood pressure readings.

The update is expected to arrive alongside Samsung’s next-generation smartwatches, including the Samsung Galaxy Watch9 and Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, which are widely expected to launch with One UI 9 Watch pre-installed. Older compatible Galaxy Watch models will receive the software update gradually.
