Jennifer Scott visits Frere Hall and Mohatta Palace during her tour of Karachi’s heritage sites.
Jennifer Scott, Rotary International Director for 2025–27, visited two of Karachi’s most celebrated heritage landmarks, Frere Hall and Mohatta Palace, during her official visit to the city.
She was accompanied by her spouse, Ian Scott. Moreover, Aftab Imam and Fouzia Aftab joined the delegation, along with Advisors to the District Governor 2026–27, Syed Kashif Rafi and Waqar Ahmed Shaikh.

During the visit, Jennifer Scott explored Karachi’s rich architectural and cultural heritage. In particular, she praised the historic Frere Hall Library and admired its extensive collection of books.
Meanwhile, the delegation also toured Mohatta Palace Museum. Jennifer Scott appreciated its historical exhibits and recognised the museum’s role in preserving Pakistan’s cultural heritage.
Furthermore, the visit highlighted Karachi’s historic landmarks and their importance in promoting culture, history and tourism. The delegation described the experience as memorable and praised the city’s enduring architectural legacy.
The visit concluded with appreciation for Karachi’s heritage and its continued efforts to preserve iconic historical sites for future generations.
