Jamshoro : The Shaheed Allah Buksh Soomro (SABS) University of Art, Design and Heritages,
Jamshoro, convened its 7th Finance and Planning Committee (FPC) meeting, chaired by the Vice-
Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Arabella Bhutto.
The meeting was attended by Director Finance HEC Pakistan (Islamabad) Samina Durrani, Director
Finance HEC Sindh Feroz Mahar, Deputy Secretary Admin (Universities & Boards Department,
Government of Sindh) Farhan Akhtar, Director Finance SABS University Imran Noor, Registrar
Muhammad Suleman Bhutto, Senate Member Sanam Bhutto, and Syndicate nominee Fazal Ellahi
Khan.
The agenda focused on several financial matters which included the confirmation of the minutes of
the 6th FPC meeting held on December 28, 2024, review and recommendation of the actions taken
following the 6th meeting, presentation and recommendation of actual expenditures for the fiscal
year 2023–24, discussion and recommendation of the Revised Budget Estimates for 2024–25 (Rs.
413.932 million) and Revised Budget Estimates for 2025–26 (Rs. 565.313 million) and deliberation
on the honorarium policy for academic meetings and evaluation participation.
The meeting concluded with a mutual consensus on the presented items and a commitment to
continued collaboration for the university's financial and strategic growth.
